“Uh-Oh, what am I doing with my life?”

I want to tell you my story, the abbreviated form of course.

Most of my life has been spent trying to figure out what would satisfy my waking hours. What form of work would suit me where I wouldn’t be climbing the walls within a year, bored out of my skull and totally frustrated with my boss, my co-workers, the customers, or the sheer lameness of the J.O.B.

I took the hard way which included lots of poverty and perhaps even laziness. Out of highschool I made lots of wrong choices and decided my best bet would be to start my own business. So what did I choose? Carpet Cleaning. Yep. What a grand and lofty goal eh? That lasted about 5 years and then I went from job to job after that.

A full 10 years after high school I was about 27 years old and wondering, ”Uh-Oh, what am I doing with my life?” I finally decided in my desperation that I needed an education. So I went to Devry University of Phoenix. I crammed 4 years of school into 3 years and graduated (2003 B.S. in Computer Information Systems) with high hopes of landing that high paying job. I promised my wife that it would be the right thing to do and then,  well, that job just never seemed to materialize.

“At that moment something snapped. I realized that I was an entrepreneur.”

So, being in a small town I resumed the same behavior. I went from job to job (with some new skills) trying to find that elusive happiness and fulfillment in my employment. I did start working here and there as a Computer Tech and (using my education) learning more and more with a foundation of education under my belt, it seemed like maybe I could make it this way. I even started my own business and had a few customers, but far and few between at times. Feast or Famine was the way. The pay never materialized and I was always barely scraping by. Really frustrating. Maybe you can relate.

It wasn’t until my whole world unraveled and I felt a divine push away from everything I had known to get very serious about life and take a leap of faith. I moved my family across the country. I scored a fancy job with an advanced  consulting firm and made some real progress in paying down the debt, credit cards, students loans, etc. That was all going so well until, I walked in after 16 months of working hard, and they let me go. No notice. No severance. No help. No compassion. No consideration.

That just about floored me. I had given it my all and it seemed like it was not good enough. I decided right then and there that I was not going to rely on anyone else (but God and myself) from that point on. I had to work for myself.

At that moment something snapped. I realized that I was an entrepreneur.

It was a solemn moment. It meant trusting God. Trusting myself to commit to a belief that I am good enough to succeed. This is when the real daily faith walk began.

So we moved back home to Arizona from back East. We were fortunate to have some money to pay a few months worth of bills upfront so we could settle back in. I plied my trade of Computer Repair, used my credentials of a B.S. in C.I.S. and some Microsoft Certifications to rebuild my computer consulting business. Yes I had decided at this point that 13 years of computer experience with tons of different technology scenarios under my technical belt. I have seen alot. I am wise enough to be a consultant.

“Are you wise enough? Be honest. What are you really good at? In what area have you acquired experience and wisdom worthy of sharing? Consider that adding your experience and wisdom to a positive, resolute attitude for success will result in you growing as a person as you take the next brave step towards your determined and successful future.“

So. It turns out that I really don’t like computers much. For me they have become more of a tool. A necessary utility to the real business of communication and marketing. You see I realized that instead of just working on the nuts and bolts of computer repair and troubleshooting, etc., I wanted to reach the hundreds of millions of people online who are looking for the skill, service and product I have. The important part here is the “HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS” of people that you can reach. It’s how to accomplish this feat that is the real stumper.

How do you reach “HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS” of people with your message?

That is where the real thirst for Internet Marketing arrived. To answer this question is TO ANSWER how to make money online.

Internet Marketing is the way all Marketing is going. It seems to me that since everything is going the way of digital, PC, MAC, Droids, Iphones, Ipads etc., it seems wise to combine Classic Marketing, Network Marketing, and Internet Marketing to reach an audience of hundreds of millions worldwide on the ever growing number of digital, internet capable devices available to the masses. Its a no brainer!

It’s almost like a sinister plan to take over the world, except, it’s not evil. It’s just cool!

Website Building, Blogging, Facebooking, Twittering, Automating, Advertising, Crafting, Search Engine Optimizing, and Surfing a successful wave of internet ECommerce is very satisfying.

In an endless flow of information your signature has to be not only at least a little unique, but it needs to be reverberated throughout as much internet real estate as you can find available to broadcast the message.
